Our Community

Built on people who want to get it right

State of Mind Role-Play (SOMRP) is an 18+ community that places a strong emphasis on realistic role-play. Our community is built upon dedicated members that are willing to learn, willing to create realistic or unique scenarios and willing to work with others to continually strengthen our community.

18+ and whitelisted

Every member is vetted before they get server access. It keeps the standard high and the drama low.

Voice, not text

A working microphone and fluent English are requirements, because the roleplay happens out loud and in character.

Realism first

Play it the way it would actually happen. That expectation applies to everyone, in every department.

Small on purpose

We are about quality and not quantity. A smaller roster is what makes a scene work.

The Judicial Branch

A courthouse that actually sits

Most roleplay servers end a scene at the arrest. Ours does not. Cases go to a real docket, a judge picks them up, and they are argued in real time.

How the courts work

Before a judge signs a warrant

  1. 01Direct observation
  2. 02Probable cause evidence
  3. 03Exigency
  4. 04Full narrative
  5. 05Badge and oath

Asked from the field, mid-scene. Answer them or the request is refused.

From the docket

From an actual scene

An in-character warrant, requested from the field and signed at 23:45 on a Sunday night. It is roleplay — and none of it was written for this website.

Cited in the affidavit

Affidavit of probable cause

A traffic stop was attempted after the driver failed to yield turning right, cutting off a semi-truck. The vehicle accelerated northbound and eluded. The pursuit ran several miles from Pillbox Hill into Paleto Bay, with swerving, fluctuating speeds, multiple collisions and travel against traffic. The driver fled on foot, tripping repeatedly, and showed sway, odour of intoxicants and bloodshot eyes on arrest. He refused field sobriety tests, refused a preliminary breath test, and refused all voluntary testing.

Judicial authorisation

The Court found probable cause and authorised qualified medical personnel at Paleto Bay Medical Center to obtain a blood sample for forensic testing.

Built on Washington State law

State of Mind Roleplay is based on Washington State laws, and the departments, jobs and businesses are all lore-friendly. Most patrols run the county roads and the towns along them — the city is where the long nights happen.
